Cable Disable or Remap Numlock in Windows 10

description

I've used SharpKeys for a long time and never had any issues with it.

Previously I was on Windows 7 and I was able to remap the Numlock key elsewhere, however I installed Windows 10 on this machine 2 days ago and since then SharpKeys is no longer able to remap my Numlock key. I write to registry and log out and back in but it doesn't update.

None of my hardware has changed, it is just a different operating system. I downloaded the newest version of SharpKeys as well but the problem persists.

The strange thing is it does detects that I am pressing the Numlock key when it asks to "type a key" to change, but it doesn't actually remap the key. So I wonder, is the registry setup somehow different in Windows 10 for this key?
