Very useful as Dell removed the Windows context key. And it also works on Windows 10!

My 1, q, a, & z keys all inexplicably stopped working, and after trying everything I could think of to fix them I finally looked into remapping the keys. I was able to map the 4 broken keys to my 4 arrow keys, which I hardly used, anyway. The keys work exactly how they're supposed to, including being able to use shift to access the upper case letters & exclamation point. I couldn't be happier!

I mapped the play/pause to a function key in Windows 10 since my laptop doesn't have it built into it. Extremely useful, especially in workplace.

Worked in Windows 10 to swap CapsLock with Left Control key! Love it!

Great as always. I just wish it could save the changes as a keyboard layout to allows switching between keyboards.

Really useful (and simple!). The left alt key on my laptop keyboard died, and I use this key CONSTANTLY.... so until I fix the key (or replace keyboard) I have used this utility to remap my left windows key to left alt and it works perfectly. I never use that windows key anyway, and it is adjacent to left-alt so re-mapping it is a good solution for me. Thankyou a 1000 times SharpKeys!

Quick and simple. Remapped the right-alt key on my Surface Pro 4 to ctrl. This lets me use ctrl-home/end/pgup/pgdn with just my right hand. I always seem to use the left-alt when I need to use alt. Just my habit I guess.

Works good with traditional keyboards. If "freehand" edit will be available or new keys (eg. 00-100) will be added to the program or is the software abandoned since 2012?

I have no words to thank the developer of this amazing and life saver tool!! On my HP Laptop the "7" numeric key malfunctioned and used to type automatically here and there making my laptop a nuisance. Now setting its value to null (i.e 0000) by writing it to the registry by this software. I am back to enjoying my laptop once again! God bless you. Regrads

Excellent. Have a mini keyboard without the F11 keys. Need this to install ESXi. Your application saved me a load of time and digging out another keyboard. thanks

Simple for a NON-power user! Easy load, easy "touch the key" feature for those of us who don't know the quirky names for special keys (like 'context'). Works seamlessly in Win10.

Simple and effective. I have a Samsung 7 Series Laptop and the number pad Enter key was working as the regular Enter key in Sibelius - very annoying as it's a commonly-used shortcut key. Using this program I was able to diagnose that the number pad Enter key was returning a different scan code (SPECIAL_ENTER) not NUM_ENTER and remap accordingly. Windows 10, x64, worked first time. Thank you so much :)

This program does exactly what it is supposed to do in a simple intuitive user friendly way. It is excellent. I found it by trying to track down how to disable the insert key but I also use it to disable the capslock key. Excellent work, well done and thank you to the author!

OH MY GOD! this was a godsend program. I had a broken 'p' key that i had t press just perfectly to type anything. being able to assign the '[' key next to it with 'p', without any hassle has made typing so much easier. I even signed up with this site just to review this program so others will use it. five out of five stars!

Excelent!!! My notebook keyboard was missing END key (was available only on the numeric keypad - which I need it a lot) and with SharpKeys I was able to remap INSERT key (rarely used) with END key so it saved me to switch on/off the numeric keyboard every few seconds. And is working on Windows 8.1 x64! Thank you!

Its a great program. But I hope it updates its database for keyboards with unique keys (my keyboard for example, the Genius Manticore). I want to change the volume up and down buttons to the prev/next track buttons, but those keys aren't registered in SharpKeys' database. I only get the message, "You've entered a key that SharpKeys doesn't recognize." Please update this further. Solid idea and solid performance otherwise.

I downloaded it, installed it on my computer and within no time, I had the two keys that have been bothering me for months disconnected and turn to absolutely no use at all. It is a perfect little program that does exactly what it is designed for. Very very nice. Thank you to the author.

I've been looking for a way to flip the functionality of my F keys for months, this worked perfectly! In the words of Krusty: "I heartily endorse this event or product."

Opera does not support ClickOnce
To install this application, save it and then open it. Opening it directly from Opera will not work correctly.
