Has anyone investigated combining the startup and shutdown macros that are part of windows to change the SharpKeys mappings?
From what I can see the main things stopping these being used to allow each user profile having their own personalised mappings are these:
- SharpKeys will require some sort of command line interface to create a batch file that is called up at startup and shutdown routines.
Has this already been requested as a feature request?
- At the moment, SK requires a logoff/logon to program. Is there any other way to force a reprogram without a log-off?
If these two could be overcome, then it might be possible.
Also, if these two areas could be overcome, it could lead to another feature request I have already seen, which is to reprogram the keys within a session, for you could have many batch files that are preconfigured that could then re-map.
As this is my first post here, and there are undoubtedly a lot of much smarter people than me here, please be kind.
Thanks for a great product.
